Introduction
The Paul Barber Foundation (PBF) is a family-run private foundation based in the Greater Toronto Area that is dedicated to improving the lives of Canadians by supporting transformational life-changing programs. Our three main pillars are as follows:

Elevating girls and women, and promoting gender equality.

Helping Youth of all backgrounds to meet their full potential.

Supporting arts programs that promote equality regardless of race, gender, or socio-economic background.
Grant Opportunity
One registered charity will be awarded a grant to be used on a new or established arts program that impacts the lives of underrepresented and/or marginalized Canadians through the arts. The grant may be single year or multi-year depending on the program needs and vision. Total grant amount is up to $120,000.
Objectives
Your project should meet one or more of the following objectives:

Provide equal access to arts programs for marginalized, underserved, or underrepresented groups.

Using arts to improve the lives of women and girls.

Using arts to improve the lives of youth.
Special Consideration
Special consideration will be given to programs that also address the following areas:

Promoting mental health.

Education and/or career-building.
-
Inclusivity and diversity.

Relevant programs we have supported in the past:

Arts program for marginalized women, many of whom have experienced issues with homelessness, mental health, or addiction

Youth education that uses arts programing to help at-risk youth graduate high-school
